It is reported by foreign media that presently Siemens company is granted by Holand a turn-key project to construct a gas combined cycle power plant the buyer of which is the joint venture company composed by Holand DELTA Energy Company and France International Power Company. The joint venture company will put into operation the power plant in Spring of 2009. The general agreement of contract includes the long-term maintenance agreement, valued to 5.5 hundred million European dollars.
In 2003, after the main equipment supply for Rijnmond gas power plant, Sloecentrale power plant will be the first turn-key project to be constructed by Siemens PG company. Holand energy market was decontrolled since 2000.
This power plant will be a “green” establishment on the construction of Southwestern Holand, its installed capacity is 870,000KW, which would meet the power need of more than 2,000,000 families.
The supply from Siemens PG company includes two sets gas-turbine plants?two sets evapour turbo machines and two generators, also the whole electric?information and communication equipment. The company also is responsible for the maintenance of the plant for 15 years.
The responsible person of Siemens electricity generating company stated that the new highly-effective combined cycle power plant makes Delta and Edf company send out the equipment signal of the sustainable development in future.
