Chile Will Increase the Electrical Production in Large Scale
It was reported on June 4 that the serious shortage on natural gas supply in Argentina led to the large-scale use of diesel oil, the lack of rainfall this year as well, greatly making the shortage status currently in Chile worse and worse. In order to solve the problem, at present there are more than 70 power stations being built nationwide in Chile, the total investment up to 15 billion US Dollars, and they will be put into use in succession after 2010.

The experts think the use of these power stations will meet the energy source need of current 6% increase year by year in Chile.
